My Name is Jessica Gabriel, but most people know me as GourJess
I know what it feels like to face brokenness and wonder if life could ever be different. My journey began in a family marked by love but also challenges—divorce, addiction, and strained relationships. By the time I was in college, I found myself caught in a cycle of anxiety, substance abuse, and depression. My Journey also included overcoming low self-esteem and seeking validation in the wrong places. This led to me being in a toxic relationship.
But my story didn’t end there. Through faith and resilience, I broke free from toxic patterns, overcame addiction, and reclaimed my Divine identity. Along the way, I built a career in beauty, media, and branding, launching successful businesses like a mobile beauty company, As well as a media production company that allowed me to help other women launch successful businesses and creating content for SA Monthly Magazine and Fox News.
I’ve worked with brands like Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Great Day SA (San Antonio), The San Antonio Fashion Awards, FGI Fashion Group International, and my role as a radio personality for KROV-FM. I’ve hosted red carpet events, and coached women to step into their power. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with She Rises Studios who has helped me to become a published author. Lastly, I’ve partnered with Fenix TV (An extension of She Rises Studios) in being an Emmys and Oscars Interviewer on the Red-Carpet.
Now, I use my story to inspire and empower women to rise above their circumstances and create lives filled with purpose and confidence. I believe your pain can become your platform, and I’m here to help you turn your story into a testimony.
